The Parkinson Association of Northern California, or PANC, is a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting regional individuals whose lives are affected by Parkinson's disease. Founded in 1996, PANC has grown significantly in its capacity to to provide resources and support for Parkinson’s patients and their loved ones.
Currently, PANC facilitates more than 40 support groups, which cater to different segments of the Parkinson's community, including care partners and young onset individuals. Beyond support groups, PANC offers additional resources and education to support the Parkinson's community.
PANC is served by a medical advisory panel consisting of PD medical professionals and therapists. They not only provide expert advice to staff and volunteers, but they also actively collaborate on initiatives for the Parkinson's community.
A community-centric organization, PANC focuses all its funding on Northern California to aid those in need. The Movement Disorders Policy Coalition is proud to join forces with PANC to advocate for patients and policies that support better care.
